Postawy konsumentów wobec nowej żywności

Streszczenie: 

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań różnych autorów dotyczących postaw i zachowań konsumentów wobec żywności nowej generacji. Wykazały one, że prozdrowotne walory żywności są doceniane przede wszystkim przez osoby zainteresowane zdrowiem swoim i rodziny. Żywność funkcjonalną kupują głównie kobiety wykształcone, posiadające dzieci oraz osoby starsze. Żywność wygodną wykorzystują najczęściej ludzie młodzi, prowadzący niewielkie gospodarstwa domowe, dobrze sytuowani i bardziej wykształceni. Z kolei stosunek konsumentów do żywności genetycznie zmodyfikowanej jest na ogół negatywny. Wpływ na to mają przede wszystkim obawy przed ich szkodliwym wpływem na organizm człowieka oraz środowisko.
